Life is beautiful, as Roberto Benini showed so eloquently, and this fact hits me often during small, everyday, rituals when I have the chance to devote to myself 30 minutes of calm, pretty, inspiring thoughts based on little details as this porcelain cup of my child hood. Its saucer had a misspelled quote that as a child made me wonder how such a mistake was allowed,  but now I see it as a symbol of acceptance that mistakes and hard times do not make life less beautiful.
